Martín Berrote, also known by his alias, Palermo, is one of the main characters in the Netflix series Money Heist, portrayed by actor Rodrigo de la Serna.

I thought the idea was that Palermo (a gay man) was hopelessly in love with Berlin (a straight man), but was afraid to confess to him because he knew it could never be.
