Durham gay pride

Pride: Durham, NC is the annual series of special programs for celebrating community, history, activism, & PRIDE of LGBTQ+ people in Durham and across the state of North Carolina.

Pride: Durham, NC has built on a long heritage, from the first public demonstration for gay civil rights in North Carolina to two full days of honoring, supporting, and celebrating LGBTQIA people and their families and loved ones in Durham, across North Carolina and beyond.

We are a proud by and for LGBT+ charity and all about raising awareness and educating the public about the issues and difficulties affecting the lives of LGBT+ people in and around County Durham.

This year, Pride: Durham, NC will take place on two days — Saturday, Sept 28 and Sunday, Sept 29! On Saturday, we will be in downtown Durham hosting our Music & Market Festival! Hosted by the LGBTQ Center of Durham, we have multiple sites downtown activated for community members to visit and enjoy.
