Pop superstar Harry Styles is peeling back the curtain on his personal life, addressing accusations of queerbaiting, his sexuality and romantic relationship with Olivia Wilde in a new interview.

While the members of One Direction have not explicitly identified as gay, their music and the way they interacted with their LGBTQ+ fans helped pave the way for more acceptance and representation within the community.

Although he was eliminated from the show, Simon Cowell brought him back to join a boy-band known as "One Direction." At the end of the show, the band came third and got a record deal with Syco.
